Things that made my day.

I haven't really posted anything that has made my day for a few days so I'm going to catch up a little bit...

-Lunch with everyone at work. Even though it was a sad occasion, I still had a blast all talking and laughing together.

-Discover that I can still ride a bike.

-The girls' progress at tumbling.

-The fact that "things that made my day" is catching on.

-Strangely enough, the rain.

-My new pants.

"Just like riding a bicycle"

I thought I'd give you a little update on yesterday's post on bicycles.

Traci and I pulled out her sister and brother-in-law's bikes and went for a nice little ride around our neighborhood last night. I discovered that you really don't forget how to ride a bike, at least I didn't. I felt a little shaky at first, but that could've been because the bike's tire pressure was a little on the low side or the fact that we were peddling up a steep hill.

I had an absolute blast though. It just completely reinforced my desire to purchase a nice bike. I'm probably going to be looking more seriously at getting myself a bike now.

If you ever want to join me for a ride, let me know!

I want... a bike!

Believe it or not, I have not been on a bicycle since I was twelve years old.
If you're doing the math, that has been ten wonderful years. (You'd think that would make me feel old, but oddly it does not. )

For the last few months I've been wishing that I had a bike that I could ride. One reason is just so I can see how accurate the phrase "just like riding a bike" is.

I've looked a bit into buying a bike, but I'm not really sure what would be appropriate for me. There are a lot of different bikes out there and apparently I'm not very educated in the different types.

I came across http://www.electrabike.com/ and I love their bikes! I totally want one.

Anyone out there have any knowledge to share on this, feel free to share.
